Two teenagers are dead and two remain in stable condition after they were struck by lightning. Police say the teens were struck while seeking shelter from a storm. The teenagers, ages 16 to 19, were playing soccer when they saw a nearby lightning strike and tried to come in from the school field where they were playing.

A man riding a motorcycle was killed Wednesday after he was hit by lightning on highway, US 36. The Westminster Fire Department stated that the man was struck while driving between Church Ranch Boulevard and Sheridan Boulevard at approximately 5:15 pm, according to the website, WFMY2.

Daphne, AL (AHN)-Concerned about the safety of her family during a stormy Memorial Day trip to the beach, Clara Jean Brown stood in her kitchen and prayed for their safe return as a strong thunderstorm ripped through Baldwin County, Alabama. After saying 'Amen,' the room was engulfed in a huge ball of fire, and the 65-year-old Brown says she is blessed to be alive.

A woman's heart stopped beating after being struck by lightning while carrying her son Saturday. Neighbors preformed CPR to revive Terri Hoag, 34. She and her 2-year-old son are recovering in Florida Hospital Fish Memorial.
