In an attempt to give her life a new start, a 45-year-old woman from Minnesota has decided to sell nearly all of her belongings in one huge auction on eBay. Lisa Perry, who has worked as a lawyer in Montana, a communications professor in Mankato, Minnesota, and a bookseller in North Carolina has reportedly put more than 300 items - including snowshoes, a futon, a bed, a Village People album and seashells on the auction that will end Thursday.

A Wisconsin woman had a really fast delivery at almost 100mph after she lost control of her breathing and felt the urge to push while she was still on her way to the hospital. Jereme Tauer Jr. , a healthy six-pound, 13-ounce baby boy was born to Jereme and Lisa Tauer as the couple sped to reach the hospital in time. Lisa Tauer's contractions were 10 minutes apart when they started for the hospital. But within few minutes her contractions became more frequent and her water broke, according to the Associated Press reports.

The American Kennel Club(R) announced on Monday that the Yorkshire Terrier, fondly called the "Yorkie" by millions of enthusiasts, has taken the number two spot as the most popular purebred dog in America. The Yorkshire Terrier beat out the beloved Golden Retriever and the iconic German Shepherd Dog to become the second most popular purebred dog in America according to AKC(R) registration figures. The Labrador Retriever is the most popular purebred dog in the country once again -- a spot it has held since 1991.

As the New Year is just round the corner, the markets are flooded with new calendars for 2007, most of them featuring semi-nude pictures. In one of them, Miss December is shown wearing nothing but a Santa hat and a smile. One such organization is The Humane Society in the city of Jefferson, about 50 miles west of Milwaukee. It is one of the many nonprofit organizations from Australia to Wisconsin selling tastefully nude calendars for next year.

A Colorado women is taking a stand against her Home Owner's Association after they ordered her to take down a Christmas wreath with a peace sign in it. Residents said the wreath is anti-Iraqi War and a symbol of Satan. The HOA has threatened to fine her $25 a day until she takes it down from her home. She figured the fine would add up to $1,000 when she plans to take the wreath down after Christmas. But she is not convinced she will have to pay.
