A woman charged with assualting a dog breeder with a dead Chihuahua puppy was adjudged guilty of misdemeanor assault and trespassing. Lisa Hopfer, 34, could be sentenced to up to 18 months in jail and charged a $1,500 fine. Trial evidence included X-rays and pictures of the dead dog, and testimony from dog breeder, Linda Hulsey.

An Ohio woman said she never wants to visit New York after the city slapped her with a $50 traffic violation. The problem is the woman was in Ohio when the violation occurred. A police camera placed in Mahattan's Greenwich Villages took the picture of a car baring similar license plate numbers to Lisa Sims, who lives in Middleton, Ohio.

A former judge has been sentenced to four years in prison for using a sexual device under his robe while he presided himself over jury trials. Donald Thompson, 59, who sat on the bench for over two decades, was convicted of four felony courts of indecent exposure, in part, by testimony from such witnesses as his former court reporter, Lisa Foster.

Alaska's Sen. Lisa Murkowski caught a 63-pound king salmon during the 11th annual Kenai River Classic. She had the heaviest catch out of all the nine senators who joined annual fundraiser. Lobbyist BP Vice President Peggy Hudson baited the largest fish, a 67-pound king.

After being suspected for being drunk on sea algae, four pelicans were being tested Saturday at a Southern California wildlife center. Reportedly, after a pelican struck a vehicle's windshield on a nearby coast road, three other pelicans were found walking dazed in the streets of Laguna Beach.
