Four pelicans in California were held on suspicion of being drunk on sea algae after one of them crashed headlong into a car. The animal suffered internal injuries as well as a long gash in its pouch. According to reports, it is undergoing toxicology tests at a Southern California wildlife center.

A woman accused of hitting a dog breeder 30 times in the head with a dead puppy has been charged with two misdemeanors but was reimbursed for the $100 puppy. Lisa Lynn Hopfer, 33, was told by a veterinarian that her newly purchased Chihuahua puppy was only four weeks old and too young to be away from its mother. Before she could return the puppy it died.

The woman, who put her bikini up for sale after she was arrested for running onto a rugby field, apparently stands to make a profit from the auction. Lisa Lewis was fined 200 dollars and ordered to pay 130 dollars for costs of the court for her crime.

After wearing just a bikini as she ran onto the field during a rugby game, the woman is now selling the bikini to help pay for court costs. 25-year-old Lisa Lewis ran onto the field near the end of the game between New Zealand and Ireland before being grabbed by security guards.

An Idaho women, Lisa Peterson, has claimed a ring which she says was stolen in 1991 from Franklin Heights High School in Columbus. The ring engraved "Lisa Marie Certain, Class of '84" was found when a fisherman Wayne Nickerson was collecting bait during a fishing excursion in northcentral Kentucky, says the Associated Press.
