A 2,000-pound live bull and a rodeo competitor will be on the trading floor of the Philadelphia Stock Exchange on Friday to ring the opening bell in a symbolic stunt to make the U.S. securities market bullish.
The bull from the World's Toughest Cowboy Rodeo named TC will be brought to the trading floor via the freight elevator. Local Toughest Cowboy competitor Clovis Crane of Lebanon, Pennsylvania, will ring the opening bell with TC by his side.
More than 7,000 firms are traded on the Philadelphia Stock Exchange, which began trading in 1790.
