A nine-year-old boy got relief from a constant earache but only after a doctor diagnosed him with having two eight legged creatures in his ear.

Jesse Courtney had been complaining about a popping sound in his ear for a few days that eventually transformed into pain, prompting his mother to rush him to the doctor.

After an examination of the boy's ear, Courtney's doctor revealed the presence of a spider in his ear canal as the unusual cause to his pain. When the doctor flushed Jesse's ear out a dead spider emerged, followed by a live one.

According to AP reports, both spiders were described as being the size of an eraser.

Despite the pain, Courtney seems to be excited about the incident. After the procedure, he took the two spiders - both dead by then - home in a jar as a souvenir.

"They were walking on my eardrums. It was real interesting, 'cause, two spiders in my ear - what next?" Jesse said.
