A 13-year-old Arizona boy opened fire on his mother after an argument, shooting and killing her, police say. According to reports Sunday, the mother and son were arguing before she left the house Friday afternoon with her husband. A sibling was also present during the row. Upon the couple's return, the boy, whose name is not being released because he is a minor, began firing at his mother, shooting her multiple times.

According to the World Naked Bike Ride Website, the annual ride is held in cities all over the world "to celebrate cycling and the human body. The ride demonstrates the vulnerability of cyclists on the road and is a protest against oil dependency. "

The French fashion industry led fashion houses, advertising firms and media outlets signed on Wednesday a charter to fight anorexia among models in magazine advertisements and catwalks. The anti-anorexia drive in the world's fashion capital was led by Health Minister Roselyne Bachelot along with groups in other countries worldwide. This will put an end to the display of ultra-skinny bodies of fashion models.

It was a festive and rich Christmas for 1,850 Spaniards holding the winning number 06381 for Spain's lottery. With a $3. 1 million jackpot, the winners received $430,000 each. The jackpot money was spread across 11 Spanish provinces where the tickets were sold, including Madrid, Barcelona and Alicante. In contrast, ticket holders of the second prize all came from Barcelona.

It came as a shock to Gordi Giro, the man making his first visit to a home he bought in an auction in Spain, to discover the former owner's mummified body sitting on the living room couch. Giro was horrified to find the body of Maria Luisa Zamora, who died of "natural" causes in 2001. It was also the year when she stopped making payments on the residence in the coastal town of Roses in Spain's northeast Catalonia region.
