Police in Suffolk, England, have warned women to "wear nice pants" when going out for a night of drinking show they don't expose themselves if they fall down drunk in the street.
Suffolk police safety campaign magazine called "Safe!" shows pictures of young women lying drunk on the ground next to messages like, "If you've got it, don't flaunt it."
"If you fall over or pass out, remember your skirt or dress may ride up. You could show off more than you intended -- for all our sakes, please make sure you're wearing nice pants and that you've recently had a wax," the magazine says.
Readers are also told to stick with friends, watch how much they drink, and take a taxi home if needed.
Police said the the magazine's gossipy, tongue-in-cheek style was designed to make young women realize the dangers they could face if they get drunk during a night out.
Chief Superintendent David McDonnell told Reuters, "We need to raise their awareness of potential problems. They become more vulnerable whilst under the influence of alcohol."
