In trying to overturn a policy that bars magazines such as Hustler and Playboy, two inmates have filed a lawsuit against the Indiana Department of Corrections. On Tuesday, the lawsuit was filed in U. S. District Court in Indianapolis and seeks class-action status for the more than 20,000 state prisoners.

The 2006 update of the Merriam-Webster Collegiate Dictionary adds mouse potatoes, googling and himbo, among 100 new words. The mouse potato is defined as someone who spends as much time on the computer as a coach potato does on the sofa.

When Mike Hammer, former editor of boy magazines Maxim and Stuff, launches the new Shock Magazine, it may be a bit more than you're used to. Hammer calls the photo-driven magazine, "Life magazine for the new millennium," and will give daring readers "an uncensored view of the world around them. "

A Russian man has included space in his coffin for his prized collection of porno magazines. After surviving a heart attack, Vladimir Villisov aged 65, designed a special coffin for himself when he realized he couldn't leave his magazines on Earth when he decided to part this world.

Famous blondes such as Marilyn Monroe or even Pamela Anderson might be the symbol of idolization for many young women around the world - but not in Japan, where women prefer darker, more sophisticated hair colors. It was only ten years ago that fair-haired women were seen all over the streets of Tokyo and on newsstand fashion magazines, but that trend is now a thing of the past. The only-fair haired women now are foreign models.
