A man accused of hiding lottery winnings of $30 million Canadian dollars from his ex-wife strikes a deal to pay her a share of the prize.

Nynna Ionson, a former stripper who is now a single mother of four living on social assistance, sued for half of the jackpot, claiming she was still romantically linked to Ray Sobeski when he won one of Canada's single biggest lottery jackpots.

In court documents, Sobeski, who waited almost one year to collect the winnings of the Super 7 lottery, says he was separated from his third wife Ionson way before buying the ticket in April 2003.

Meanwhile, Ionson claims that on the day Sobeski collected his winnings, they had sex in a motel.

She learned about his newfound wealth after reading the story in the newspaper the following morning.

Canada's CBC news reports lawyers for both parties have said the deal will remain confidential.
