Stealing a woman's undergarments has landed a Geraldine, Alabama man in jail after police charged him with property theft. Joseph Edward Reaves was reportedly arrested Wednesday morning following a complaint from a Fyffe, Alabama woman that her undergarments were missing.

According to AP reports, the woman had hung some of her undergarments outside to dry in mid-December when she found several items of clothing were missing. The missing items included four pairs of underwear and four bras.

After Reaves stole the woman's undergarments, he replaced them with newly bought pairs of four bras and three or four pairs of underwear. He also wrapped the new undergarments in Christmas wrapping, and then left the package for the victim.

Reaves has not been arrested for the same type of offenses in the past and was released from the DeKalb County Jail on $500 bond.
