An English soccer fan has betted over $370,000 that England will win this year's World Cup final.
If David Beckham and company do win the World Cup, the gambler, who is only identified as an Arab in his 40s, can pocket a cool $2 million.
According to Ananova, the high-stakes gambler made his bet at the William Hill in London's Park Lane two days before the tournament kicked-off. It took staff initially over half an hour to count his money, which was all in 50 pound notes.
A spokesman for William Hill said: "Our eyes popped out when we opened up the first hamper. When he came back on the second day with Ł100,000 ($184,870) it took over an hour to count it."
So far his bet is on target, as England have made in to the quarter-final rounds.
