Well, at least he didn't end up in Colorado. A young German man accidentally booked a ticket to Sidney, Montana in the United States, rather than to Sydney, Australia where his girlfriend was waiting for him.

The 21-year-old man, Tobi Gutt, ended up over 8,000 miles off course and was stuck in the freezing cold of Montana for over three days with only a suitcase of summer clothes intended for his trip to Australia.

Eventually, Gutt's family in Germany sent him the money he needed in order to continue his trip to his real final destination of Sydney. His mother tells reporters that she didn't notice the booking error at first, assuming that Gutt knew what he was doing, saying he is "usually good with computers".
