It took 700 pounds of cheese, but Troy Landwehr's masterpiece is complete. Landwehr, a cheese carver and winemaker, carved a miniature replica of Mount Rushmore out of a 700-pound block of Land O' Lakes cheddar.

Cheez-It snack crackers commissioned the sculpture. It will soon start a tour, first making a stop in New York City's Times Square with Landwehr to appear on television.

The sculpture is then scheduled to go on a nationwide publicity tour. After that, the carving will end up in Oklahoma where it will be cut into cubes and eaten.
