A New Jersey man is facing hot water after police charged him with making a false report after he dialed 911 to detail an alleged robbery when a gas station clerk refused to refund his money for an unopened box of condoms.
Officers were dispatched Sunday and found an employee of the gas station who exactly fit the description of the supposed robber given to them by the caller.
However, investigation found the 21-year-old caller dialed the police emergency assistance number so he could get his money back after the clerk refused to accept the box of unopened condoms he wants to return.
