A 22-year-old man shopping in the toy department of a Wal-Mart Supercenter found a open pack of cigarettes under a shelf and discovered a bag containing a white, powdery substance. Police said the substance was later identified as one gram of cocaine - an amount that could be lethal for a child.

According to AP, police spokeswoman Glynda Chu said, "Being in the toy department, a child could easily have found it, and children will put anything in their mouths."

Chu said investigators don't have any suspects yet.

"No, none at all, we don't really know why someone would leave cocaine, especially in the toy department of such a big department store," she said. "It's just incomprehensible that anyone would do this."

The cocaine was booked into property at the Edmond Police Department. Police say it will be destroyed.

Chu said the person who left the drug may have seen a uniformed police officer in the store and panicked, but investigators have no suspects.
