A 32-year-old man from Franklin, Ohio, who tried to get away from police by jumping from rooftop to rooftop ended up in the hospital after he got stuck in a 15-foot-deep gap between two buildings.
According to AP reports, Christopher Watts was wanted for a parole violation when he escaped from officers on Saturday and climbed onto the roof of a one-story bar.
He then tried to jump to a dry cleaner's rooftop next door, but he missed and became stuck between the two buildings. Watts was eventually rescued by the fire department and admitted to a hospital.
He was recently said to be in fair condition at a Dayton hospital.
Police officers are waiting to arrest Watts when he is released. Now he has also been charged with obstructing official business.
