It was an unlucky day for a 42-year-old man from Missoula, Montana when he was cited for drunken driving twice in the same day, by the same officer. If this was not enough, Adam T. Lundgren was also jailed after he showed up drunk for his arraignment.

On Monday, Lundgren was cited for misdemeanor drunken driving after being spotted driving irrationally at 5:30 p.m., court records show. After being released to a sober friend he ditched his company and jumped from his car to return to downtown Missoula to continue getting drunk.

According to AP reports, Lundgren then drove into a bridge railing at about 10 p.m. and started to run away for some time until he was finally captured and held by a man until police arrived.

This time too he was cited again for drunk driving by the same officer Cody Lanier of the Missoula Police Department for drunken driving, along with reckless driving and failing to heed a stop sign.

The man was released after a $700 bail later Monday night, but was jailed Tuesday afternoon after he showed up drunk for his Municipal Court arraignment.
