A 74-year-old man from man Pennsylvania's Susquehanna Township was recently charged with his second drunken driving while he was on his way to be present in court for his first drunken driving hearing.
Police on Tuesday arrested Anthony R. Lilly after his car struck into a guardrail when he was en route driving for a hearing on a Feb. 8 drunken-driving arrest. This was the third time Lilly was charged for Driving Under Influence of alcohol.
After his first arrest on Feb.8, his blood-alcohol content was 0.259 percent, more than three times the 0.08 percent legal limit for driving in the state.
The little-conscious Lilly, who didn't remember anything told The Patriot-News of Harrisburg, "All I know is that I must've bumped something. It wasn't bad. It wasn't a collision or anything. I know the tire is flat and the headlight is damaged."
After being involved in three similar accidents, Lilly is now considering to quit drinking alcohol but doesn't seem happy about it. "I'll have to quit. They're going to force me to stop."
