A man authorities released on bail for theft charges immediately stole a car from a local gas station minutes after leaving the police station.

The suspect, 22-year old Donald Strohm Jr., reportedly drove off with a Kia Optima Monday right after being arraigned and released on bail for stealing more than $1000 worth of razor blades and over-the-counter medication from a Quakertown market.

The judge, according to the AP, had mentioned the possibility of Strohm being freed on unsecured bail, and wait for the scheduled preliminary hearing. However, the violation of any of the conditions given upon his release would result in Strohm either paying the bail, or being put in prison.

The owner of the car admitted that he had left the engine running while going inside the A-Plus Minimart at the area's Sunoco gas station, said Philadelphia's The Intelligencer.

Police are still searching for Strohm, and put an all-points bulletin after identifying the car.
