Kraft Foods is facing a lawsuit, after a man claims he found a rodent tooth in a package of peanuts.
Carl Cornett, 52, says he found the tooth in some Planters peanuts he bought last year, and now wants $55,000 in damages from the food giant.
According to the suit, Cornett says he bit into a "non-human animal tooth," that his attorney, Jack Johnston, says, "looks like it would be from a herbivorous rodent of some type."
The suit says Cornett became physically and mentally ill.
Kraft Foods Inc. has declined to comment.
