Police in Dandre Turk's jail cell in Canton, Ohio discovered a diamond ring worth $30,000 from a toilet after they suspected a man of swallowing it. Four men from 18 to 22 years of age from Detroit were charged Wednesday for robbery in a jewelry store near Canton.

The police had to keep a close watch on their movements after they believed one of them could have swallowed the two-carat diamond ring.

AP quotes Dave Zink of the Jackson Township Police Department as saying, "We did suspect him of swallowing the ring. We were going to X-ray. Instead, we alerted both jails that whenever he had a movement to scrutinize it."

The man not only swallowed the 18-karat white gold setting ring on Tuesday but he also swallowed its tag which made it easier for the police to confirm if it was the same ring.

According to police reports, the four men who are suspected involve Turk, 20, Juantai Phillips, 22, Reggie Jackson, 20, and Ricco Almon, 18, all of Detroit and were arrested near a freeway interchange about 30 minutes after the store reported the robbery.
