Randall Hall tried to conceal stolen diamonds by swallowing them. For his efforts, he will spend the next six to eight months in prison.

Hall was charged with the larceny of two diamonds worth $30,000 from Hinkamp Jewelers.

Detectives say Hall swallowed one of the diamonds and stashed the other in the woods. Jailers say Hall eventually passed the diamond, which authorities later found.

No word whether the other diamond was recovered.

Hall pleaded guilty to the larceny charges, while the other charges were dropped in exchange for his guilty plea.
