A 28-year-old man wanting to take his wife on a second honeymoon, has converted a bottle of beer into a camper van, in just five swapping deals.
Pete Genders from Lincoln, England said he wanted to have a motor home so he could take his wife Verity on a tour. He set up a Web site offering a $5.20 beer and told himself he will not stop until he acquired a van.
Five months later Pete, received the keys to a W-reg VW camper worth over $2,900.
He said, "I never expected to do so well."
In his first swap, Pete exchanged the Lincoln GrALE beer for a day as a local newspaper editor. He then entered a deal to exchange that to become a co-host of a radio show. He swapped that for tickets for The Zutons.
According to the Mirror, Pete said, "One Zutons fan even asked if I fancied a night with his girlfriend."
He eventually went on to own a $960 Citroen which he finally exchanged for the camper van.
