A man with a large "Grand Theft Auto" tattoo on his back was arrested for stealing a car.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police said Shylo Kujawski was seen acting suspiciously in a Vancouver neighborhood where cars had been stolen.

Police said Kujawski's tattoo was used to identify him as a convicted auto thief.

Authorities then set up a stakeout to capture him as he drove away in a stolen car.

Police said they observed Kujawski accidentally disable the car with the owner's steering wheel lock, preventing his attempt to drive away in another stolen vehicle.

Kujawski was charged with possession of stolen property in connection with an auto theft, as well as breach of probation and driving with a suspended license.
