Dwayne Earl Anthony Etzel was arrested on drug possession charges after a police officer caught him pedaling on a bicycle with three uprooted marijuana plants under his arm. Police spotted Etzel, 18, biking in the early evening Monday with what is described as a "big smile" on his face.

Health Canada is reportedly planning a pilot program to sell medical marijuana in select pharmacies as of next year. The move makes Canada the second country in the world, after the Netherlands, to sell pot in drugstores. According to The Associated Press, there are more than 900 people in Canada authorized to use marijuana for medical conditions.

A man who reported a safe stolen from his home one month ago may now face charges, after police find almost one pound of marijuana inside. The man told Delta County sheriff's deputies someone broke into his home on August 9 and took the 200-pound safe, which stored a rifle, muzzleloader, two knives, and a collection of silverdollars.

Oakland Raiders receiver Randy Moss admits to using marijuana, but does not believe he is hooked on the drug. Marijuana is on the NFL's list of banned substances. In an interview on the HBO television program Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel, which will air Tuesday night. Moss says, "I have used, you know, marijuana since I've been in the league. But as far as abusing it and, you know, letting it take control over me, I don't do that, no. "
