Police authorities were contacted by a man who reported that a burglar had stolen about $3,200 from his house - along with his marijuana stash. The man primarily claimed that someone had broken into his Apple Valley home, and that he was not certain whether or not the burglar had taken anything. Upon the arrival of Apple Valley police, the man said that the robber had indeed made off with his precious supply.

Police authorities arrested a local flower shop owner who was found to have been growing the illegal kind of greenery. Jeffrey Izard, 52, was discovered to have been cultivating marijuana in an apartment located right above the Kinzel Flower Shop. Officials said that the apartment, which was Izard's residence, contained grown plants, as well as equipment used to cultivate it.

A couple that recently moved in to an apartment were in for a surprise upon discovering about $12,000 in cash inside the refrigerator. Colleen Mesler, 65, said that she found the bills in the freezer, when her husband Jim asked her to throw the tray out. The cash was seen deteriorating and covered with mold, and wrapped in tin foil.

Police in New Jersey busted a pot smoker in a house right next door to the police station after the officers smelled the scent of marijuana. Sgt. Ronald Heinzman was on his way home when he picked up the distinct scent. Heinzman said he called over some other officers who helped him hunt down the source of the odor.

A father sold the hard-to-find video game "Guitar Hero III he bought for his son for $90 as a Christmas present at an online auction for a whopping $9,000 after he caught his 15-year-old teenage son smoking marijuana. The sale occurred after the father searched for the video game for the Nintendo WII game board. The father spent two weeks searching for the video game as a Christmas present for his boy.
