Police in Napier, New Zealand were amused when a middle-aged woman called up crying to report a theft of cannabis plants she had been growing in buckets at her home. The 45-year-old woman's main grudge was that the plant theft was the fourth from her property in North Island in the past four years. She was emotional and in tears when police reached her home.

A 24-year-old "honest criminal" surprised the police when he called them up to inform them that he was trying to break into a church and needed their help. When officers reached St. Paul's Lutheran Church, they found a man waiting outside for them. The man, who was also found to possess marijuana, told them he had hoped to get married in the church and need their help to break in. The man was using a metal shovel to break through the doors.

A 22-year-old man from Sheboygan, Wisconsin is not too happy with his friends who did warn him that his fly was unzipped. Police arrested the man for drug possession in a very awkward situation after they discovered a marijuana pipe and drugs stored in his underwear. The arrest was made in the Town of Wilson where the man, whose name has not yet been released, was found stuck in a car in the ditch. According to a media reports, the man's fly was unzipped that made officers suspicious about him.

A man carrying 43 pounds of marijuana in the trunk of his Chevrolet Malibu was arrested Sunday after crashing into a South Carolina police cruiser. He had been driving about 70 mph on northbound Interstate 95 when he hit a cruiser parked in one of the lanes. AP reports that Highway Patrol Capt. Chris Williamson said the officer whose vehicle was hit had minor injuries.

A man who claimed that he was a werewolf is facing a number of charges after being arrested for breaking into a woman's apartment. Robert Marsh, 39, a former inmate told police that he was a werewolf and could change shapes at his will. According to a criminal complaint filed against him, the woman called the police early Thursday and reported that Marsh broke through the deadbolt on her door and grabbed her by the arm. Two men in the home stopped him, it said, according to FDL reporter. com.
