London, England (AHN)-Britain's biggest theme park announced it has called off the country's first "National Muslim Fun Day" because of lack of interest. Alton Towers in central England was to open on September 17 for Muslims-complete with halal food, a strict dress code and prayer areas.

The United Kingdom's largest theme park cancels the first "National Muslim Fun Day" due to poor ticket sales. Alton Towers had set aside September 17 as a day for Muslims. The park was going to ban music, gambling and alcohol for the day, institute a strict dress code and set aside prayer areas. The park was also going to segregate by sex rides such as "Ripsaw," Corkscrew" and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. "

Cambodian government might have allowed the native damsels to compete for their beauty at Miss Cambodia Contest, provided that wear proper attire. The government has banned the beauties to wear swimming suits during the contest to "preserve Cambodian culture. " The country, which is holding its first Miss Cambodia competition after more than a decade, has ruled out skimpy attire in contests, organizers said Friday.

Boo has returned. The runaway 4-year-old grizzly bear returned to his enclosure at the Kicking Horse Mountain Resort outside of the Canadian Rockies Saturday. His keepers say more than likely, Boo came back because it's easier to get food at his 22-acre enclosure, and mating season has ended.
