Failing to bring proper identification cards with him, the mayor of Charleston, West Virginia used a magazine that featured him on the cover to get through a United States airport.
Danny Jones was making his way through the security line at a California airport when he realized his driver's license was lost.
With no other ID on hand, Jones brought out a copy of Charleston Magazine from his bag that carried an article written by him in his capacity as mayor of Charleston, showing him welcoming visitors to Charleston.
To his relief, the airport's security officers accepted the magazine photo as proof of identification.
