McDonald's golden arches are getting a makeover. The worldwide hamburger chain is going to distinguish its kosher restaurants with the blue and white colors of Israel's flag in 14 restaurants. The move is aimed at preventing religious Jews from accidentally eating a cheeseburger. According to the Guardian Online, the change is expected to be made at ten other branches Jewish religious authorities have given kosher certificates to. . . because they do not include dairy products on their menus.

Apparently, the U. S. truly is a fast food nation and the documentary, "Supersize Me" taught us nothing. A couple decides to get married under the golden arches, as the store went about its business and customers continued to order Big Macs and apple pies.

A mother is claiming her son received a contaminated sundae from McDonald's. Carmen Jara is suing the fast food franchise over claims that her then-13-year-old son was served a hot fudge sundae contaminated with human blood. Jara says her son got sick and was afraid he'd contracted a deadly disease.
