Some good is left behind in Katrina's wake, as one Louisiana evacuee, Ashley Schexnayder, welcomes a miracle addition to her family in the midst of death and destruction. After a 23-hour journey, Ashley Schexnayder reached Bayshore Medical Center in Pasadena, Texas to give birth to her newborn son, who she thankfully named Jeremiah Bayshore Schexnayder in honor of the doctors, nurses, and staff who came to her aid.

A postal worker is struck by lightning Monday while delivering mail close to a tree. At the time, skies are clear, without a drop of rain. Neighbors and witnesses say they heard lightning strike a tree near a mailbox as the postal worker opened it.

A woman is hospitalized with broken bones after climbing on the Fenway park rafters, during Sunday night's Rolling Stones concert, and falling 35 to 40 feet. Police say the 20-year-old woman broke both her ankles and a wrist. She was hospitalized in stable condition at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. A hospital spokeswoman, says no further information on the woman's condition will be released; her name has not been made public.

A 12-year-old girl collapses at a Disney World water park Thursday and later dies. Authorities at the Orange County Sheriff's Office report the girl was in the wave pool at Typhoon Lagoon when lifeguards noticed her lying on a ledge, out of the water.
