On Thursday German police forces captured two men believed to have stolen over a dozen cars by following their foot prints in the snow. The car thieves stole 15 vehicles from two garden sheds, and were in the process of getting away.

In keeping with a holiday tradition, last-minute shoppers this holiday season are more likely to be men, according to a new survey. This, as retailers are depending more on procrastinators this holiday season. Without one or two stand out must-have toys or apparel to lure people into stores, many shoppers have decided to hold off until the final hours before Christmas to open their wallets.

The National Retail Federation says that 17. 9 percent of men had not even started their holiday shopping last weekend, compared to 12. 5 percent of women. The study confirms the general sentiment that men procrastinate more to do their holiday shopping.

Two firefighters burned two people after pouring gasoline down a firehouse drain, causing an explosion a few blocks away. Both firefighters have been indicted on charges of assault, official misconduct, environmental crimes and other offenses, says District Attorney Jeanine Pirro.
