Police Officer David Salardino of Edison, N. J. allegedly posed nude in front of his hotel room to show off to people on the sidewalk. While Salardino apologizes for his actions, he has yet to admit to being nude.

Two young boys in Florence, Italy attempted to climb a 16-century statue of Neptune siting in a fountain in the main town square of Piazza della Signoria, breaking a hand right off the statue and damaging other parts of the fountain. The young men are from the city of Empoli, just outside of Florence in northern Italy. One of them was slightly injured during the pre-dawn climb.

Pennsylvania police investigate the armed robbery of two garbage collectors that left one of them in the hospital with a head injury. John White and co-worker Kevin McDonough were taken to Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center after they were assaulted.

A Texas man is arrested on Monday after calling the cops to complain someone had stolen his stash of marijuana. Stephen Knight, 17, called authorities and said three men broke into his apartment, hogtied him with Christmas lights, and stole some marijuana, as well as a plasma screen television.
