Swedish Couple Locked in Legal Fight With Tax Board Over Baby's Name

A Swedish couple had to scrap their plans to travel to Germany because the name they want to give to their six-month-old daughter is unacceptable by the State's tax board and the family can not travel without a registered first name on the kid's passport. Although the couple finds the name "Metallica" really befitting for their obstinate daughter, the tax board contends it as gross and unflattering. According to The Local reports, the tax board has refused to register the name on the grounds that the name may be derived from an American heavy metal band and is too closely related to the word "metal. "

Police Arrests Man Who Called Them To Seek Their Help To Break In

A 24-year-old "honest criminal" surprised the police when he called them up to inform them that he was trying to break into a church and needed their help. When officers reached St. Paul's Lutheran Church, they found a man waiting outside for them. The man, who was also found to possess marijuana, told them he had hoped to get married in the church and need their help to break in. The man was using a metal shovel to break through the doors.

The Chinese government has launched a nationwide campaign to treat "Internet addiction" and many Internet-addiction clinics have been opened in this regard. Dog OK After Swallowing Quarter Of Bottle Of Heavy-Duty Glue

Reggie, a black Labrador retriever, is reported to be doing fine following a surgery to remove the glue he swallowed two weeks ago. Reggie was brought to the operation table on Friday, when an X-ray test showed two large masses in the dog's abdomen. Dr. Mark Reineck, a veterinarian at Fremont Animal Hospital who operated on Reggie, revealed that he was contacted by the owner of the canine after he swallowed nearly a quarter of a bottle of heavy-duty polyurethane adhesive and began vomiting. The adhesive is usually used to bond wood, stone, metal and brick.
