Florida Bank Robber Also Tried To Steal A Kiss

Florida police arrested a man Friday that allegedly tried to get a kiss from the bank teller, along with the loot.

After allegedly attacking a Bank of America security guard outside of the bank, Fort Lauderdale police say Deatrick Daniel, 27, ran into the bank building and struggled with the bank manager, who was trying to call 911, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported.

Florida Man Charged For Trying To Steal Data From 130 Million Credit, Debit Cards

The U.S. Attorney's office in New Jersey on Monday charged a man from Miami. Florida and two suspects in Russia for trying to steal data from 130 million credit and debit cards by hacking corporate computers.

The attempt of Albert Gonzalez, 28, and the unidentified accomplices to steal the numbers and account information from the credit card data systems of Princeton-based card payment processor Heartland Payment Systems Inc., convenience store 7-Eleven Inc., and supermarket chain Hannaford Brothers Co., is believed to be the largest credit card theft in the U.S.

Miami Ex-con Charged For Filing $15 Trillion Tax Refund

A money-laundering convict from Miami has been charged for filing false claims with the IRS and obstructing the agency's law for seeking $15 trillion in tax refunds.

Marlon T. Moore, 38, filed three separate income tax returns seeking tax refunds of $5.95 trillion, $2.97 trillion and $6 trillion after his release from a prison in Florida in 2007. He used fraudulent documents as basis for the claims.

Miami Teen Charged For Cat Killing Spree

A teenage suspected of engaging in a month-long killing spree of 19 pet cats in two Miami towns was charged Monday with 19 counts of animal cruelty and improper disposal of animal body.

Tyler H. Weinman, 18, of Cutler Bay was also charged with four counts of burglary and his bail was set at $249,500, according to police.

Arrest Made In Cat Slayings That Terrorized South Florida Residents

Police in Miami arrested a suspect in a series of cat killings and mutilations that have kept pet owners in two south Florida communities on edge since May.

Tyler Weinman, 18, of the town of Cutler Bay, was arrested Sunday morning and charged with 19 counts of animal cruelty, 19 counts of improperly disposing of an animal body and four counts of burglary.
