Miami, FL (AHN) -

According to the Miami-Dade School Board, a boy brought the pills to school, took one, and distributed the rest amongst five friends.

Rescue workers took the six students to area hospitals for observation; all are expected to be OK.

Officials are not sure where the boy got the pills or if he was selling them. It is likely the boy will be suspended and recommended for expulsion.

There is no word if the other students face disciplinary action.
