Motherhood is a universal phenomenon that surpasses all boundaries. The fact became reality recently when a small abandoned kitten was adopted by a 3-year-old female dog named Lillie. Tahoe, the kitten who was found under the hood of Eunice Collins' running Chevrolet Tahoe a few weeks ago, is being fed all day by Lillie.

Many children in England are so detached from nature that they have started to believe that carrots grow on trees. According to Keith Siddorn, a farmer in Meadowbrook Farm in Broxton many children who visit his farm on tours are also ignorant about which animal pork comes from. Siddorn told the Chester Chronicle that though many of the children are aware that the source of milk is cow but when asked about beef they get confused because they do not realize the same animal can serve two purposes.

A farmer in Lincoln County, Wisconsin was surprised to discover that his new calf, Lucy has two noses. Mark Krombholz said he didn't notice any abnormality in Lucy until he took her to the barn to feed milk. "I went to feed her a bottle of milk, and I thought maybe she'd been kicked in the nose and there were two noses there. " According to AP reports the second, smaller nose is located on top of the first and Kromnholz say it was a functional one because the flap in the middle of the second does goes in and out while feeding her.

Advocates of breast-feeding in the Philippines will try anew to break their own record set last year, by organizing the biggest simultaneous breast-feeding event on Wednesday. The Children for Breast-feeding, with its partner, Nurturers of the Earth, has invited mothers to participate in a simultaneous breast-feeding program in at least 40,000 day-care centers all over the Philippines.
