A minivan slammed into a horse-drawn buggy in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania on Sunday injuring four people, officials said.
A family of seven was rear-ended by Dodge Caravan minivan. The man and three of his children were injured in the crash, with two boys and one girl airlifted to a hospital. The wife and two other children, along with the minivan's driver, were not injured.
However, everyone was transported to the hospital to be examined, according to reports.
The crash took place about 7:15 a.m. Sunday, the driver reportedly told investigators that he was temporarily distracted by glare from the sun when he crested a hill and didn't notice the buggy in front of him.
When the minivan struck the buggy the horse bolted left, tipping the buggy onto its side as it skidded across the road ejecting some of the family members.
