The kidnapping staged by her own parents caused Julianna to miss her pre-wedding dinner with her groom's parents, which was set to be held on the eve of her wedding, in addition to missing her own wedding date.

An Indiana woman who spent nearly a month in a dog kennel to raise money for an animal shelter has emerged from her temporary home. Cheryl Walker, a volunteer at Marion-Grant County Humane Society, came out of the 4-by-7-foot kennel on Sunday after raising $8,162 to finance a new shelter. The 42-year-old Walker says her stay at kennel was worth it since 110 animals were adopted or rescued from the shelter during her 30-day stay.
