A Missouri mom was shocked to discover their family's Christmas photo had been with as an advertisement in Prague, without the family's knowledge or permission.

Danielle Smith got a call from a friend who was vacationing in Prague and saw the family's photo in a store window, The Intelligencer reported.

Smith's friend took pictures of the ads and sent them to the flabbergasted mom of two.

Smith and her husband Jeff had sent the photo of themselves with their children to friends and family as a Christmas card and had also posted the image on her blog and a few social media networking Web site, England's the Daily Telegraph reported.

"It's a life-size picture in a grocery store window in Prague - my Christmas card photo!" Smith, 36, who lives in the St. Louis suburb of O'Fallon, told the Telegraph.

The owner of the Grazie store in Prague, Mario Bertuccio, admitted her found the picture on line, but he said he thought it was computer generated. After he was told it was a real family, he promised to remove the ad.

Smith now says she'll lower the resolution of add an electronic watermark before posting any family photos online.

"We'll be happy to write an e-mail with our apology," Bertuccio told the Telegraph, and said he would send the Smiths a bottle of good wine if they lived in his eastern European country.
