Feeling the pressure to do well on their college entrance exams, over 20 students in Vietnam paid up to 50 million dong ($3,125) for wigs and shirts wired to help them cheat, police said Monday. As a result of Hanoi police raids over the weekend, 50 mobile phones, 60 earphones, 150 SIM cards, eight shirts and five wigs were confiscated, according to an officer who spoke on the condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media.

A Qatari bidder on Tuesday, paid $2. 75 million for the world's most expensive mobile phone number 666-6666 at a charity event in the capital of Doha. Eight people took part in the 10 minute auction, organized by Qatar Telecom to help raise funds for charity, paying 3,000 Qatari riyals ($824. 60) per ticket.
