A Scarsdale, New York mom kicked her 10- and 12-year-old girls out of the car in downtown White Plains and drove away after apparently becoming frustrated when they wouldn't stop fighting.
Police said Madlyn Primoff, 45, forced her two daughters to get out of the car Sunday and then drove away, the White Plains Journal News reported.
After the 12-year-old ran after the vehicle, she was let back in. But the 10-year-old girl was left behind.
A passerby saw the younger girl crying and brought her ice cream and contacted White Plains police, who searched the area, but didn't find the mother, the Journal News reported.
A short time later, the mother called police to report the girl missing. She was arrested when she arrived with her husband at White Plains police headquarters, the UPI reported.
Primoff is charged with endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor offense.
