The mother of a 13-year-old school boy was videotaped for encouraging her son to fight with another boy. Renee Ann Honnold, who allegedly drove her son to a fight with another boy in Sutter Middle School on Monday, was arrested on Thursday on the basis of a video a student secretly shot.

The 37-year-old woman from Folsom, California was arrested on suspicion of two felonies, endangering the life or health of a child and criminal conspiracy, as well as contributing to the delinquency of a minor, a misdemeanor. Police cited her son for suspicion of misdemeanor battery.

According to police, the video shows Honnold as shouting, "Hit him! Hit him!" followed by the son hitting the other boy with serious punches. On seeing the two boys fighting, Kim Williams - the mother of the other boy said at first she thought Honnold was coming to help her out to stop the fight but was shocked when she told her to keep out.

Though the fight was brief and none of the boys were seriously injured, school authorities have suspended them for five days.
