Nancy O'Donnell, 56, is charged with four counts each of aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another person. She is being charged with trying to poison her adult daughter and her family with bleach, which she poured in the Macaroni and cheese served during a Saturday night dinner.
O'Donnell's daughter, Victoria Lynn O'Donnell, 24, was preparing dinner around 6:30 p.m. for her live-in boyfriend, Jamal Scott, 30, and their 6-year-old son and 2-year-old daughter, in the home she shares with her mother.
According to police, when Victoria O'Donnell returned to her cooking, after leaving the stove, she could smell the bleach and tasted the food. Only to discover it was poisoned.
When she confronted her mother, the older O'Donnell responded, "you don't deserve those children."
