The concert of international pop icon Madonna scheduled Sunday in Dusseldorf, Germany, will be monitored by German prosecutors to determine whether a mock crucifixion during the performance is offensive to religious beliefs. However, the prosecutors say they will not be watching the show live, but rather rely on media reports to conclude their observations.

Prince, a six-year-old boy, trapped for 50 hours in a 50-feet long 16-inch wide pit in Northern Indian district of Kurukshetra, has been rescued by Indian Army personnel on Sunday. Prince slipped into the pit on Friday while playing near it. Two soldiers pulled out the six-year-old, as army personnel dug a tunnel from a dried up well parallel to the narrow and dark pit, reports PTI.

A high school student, who could only read and write upside down, has been miraculously cured by the color orange. The 17-year-old Gemma Williams could only read or write if her book or papers were placed upside down. Even her computer monitor was upside down, too.

Playing pool during the daytime has now been banned by the Ugandan police because it encourages crime. According to a Reuters report, pool tables sit under canopies outside thousands of small bars in Uganda.

Miami police have arrested five people they believe are tied to a string of burglaries in the Kendall area, by following up on some criminal bragging rights. In one instance the suspects, Matthew Vasquez and Martha Bernard, both 22, and Chris Barrientos, 21, were identified after they burglarized an occupied home.
