Monkeys In German Zoo Go Wild When Clown Arrives To Entertain Them

No one wants a bored monkey who won't monkey around. So a German zoo hired a clown to clown around for the monkeys and cheer them up. Zoo bosses hired a local entertainer to fool around in front of the chimps, baboons, gorillas and orangutans in zoo cages because a veterinarian said that bored monkeys were more often sick or aggressive monkeys.

In a bid to make three endangered golden monkeys from China feel at home, the authorities at Los Angeles Zoo have paid $4,500 to an expert in the ancient Chinese art of feng shui. The Zoo will spend a total of $7. 4 million for the golden monkeys, which are brought on loan from China and are scheduled to appear at the zoo later this year. It is apparently the first use of this ancient Chinese art on animals. Fen Shui is the ancient Chinese practice of placement and arrangement of space to achieve harmony with the environment. It is environmental science that studies how the surrounding environments would affect the human life. It mainly focuses on the study of earth's magnetic field and geo-structure in relation to effects to human life.

New Delhi Residents Fed Up Over Growing Monkey Menace

Following a legal petition filed by residents in a posh New Delhi neighborhood, a Delhi High Court has scolded Indian authorities for failing to stop the increasing-and problematic-presence of monkey's in the Indian capital. Various efforts to stop the so-called monkey menace have failed in the past, in part because of the Hindu belief that monkeys are manifestations of the monkey god Hanuman.

Woman To Sue Brazilian Zoo After A Monkey Threw A Stone At Her

A 25-year-old Brazilian woman said she is planning to lodge a formal complaint against the head of the Rio de Janeiro Zoo after one of the monkeys threw a stone at her during a visit. Regiane Viana told O Dia newspaper that she was taken to the hospital and needed treatment after she was hit on the head by the monkey's stone.
