Beverly and Ernie Fischer experienced a Morton County moose intrusion when they encountered a bull moose that believes that it is a cow.
Ernie said it was difficult separating the young bull moose away from the rest of the cattle, forcing him to ask some workers to put it in a separate corral until it could be released.
But aside from the fence they have to build, the also have to do some mending as the moose also broke fences on the ranch 20 miles south of Mandan.
Local say that it was the only such incident in south central North Dakota this year.
