Over 150 people showed up for the annual World Bog Snorkeling Championship in Wales for a chance to race in a pair of 60-year trenches.
Organizer Gordon Green, 74, took part for the first time since he inaugurated the event more than 20 years ago in an attempt to put his town on the tourist map, England's Times reported.
The bog snorkelers paid 15 pounds for the race-all funds raised were donated to charity.
No word on who snorkeled the two muddy bogs the fastest.
