An Ohio fugitive was not in his rented motel room when Kentucky officials searched his room. Joseph Woods, the 31-year-old suspect was said to be robbing a National City Bank in Norwood at the time of the search operation. According to federal agents, they recovered $2,600 from the walls of the Drawbridge Inn. The bills were believed to be stolen from U. S. Bank of Sardinia, Ohio Tuesday because of the serial number on the bills.

A couple that began fighting in their motel continued their argument over to the adjacent Waffle House diner in the nude. The unidentified woman, told officers she shared the room with a Larry Boyd who had taken a hit of cocaine and began trashing the room and choking her.

A man police said was apparently high on drugs ran naked through Smithtown streets on Sunday before dying from respiratory problems, according to authorities on Monday. Homicide detectives at Suffolk police said the drama began around 6:30 a. m. when Kenneth Barbaruolo, 40, of East Northport left a motel room in Smithtown and then drove off by himself for up to half a mile.

Police say a man they confronted had "gone berserk," shortly before officers Tasered him and he later died. Police spokesman Wayne Shelor says officers were called after the man acted violently at a motel near Clearwater Beach Wednesday night, throwing patio furniture and knocking out a window.

Two motel housekeepers get into a fight armed with cleaning supplies. One gets rushed to the hospital with injuries, while the other lands herself in the slammer. The women accused each other of taking toilet rolls from each other's cleaning carts at a motel in Charleston, South Carolina. The debate got heated and police were called to break up the fight that broke out with one armed with a plunger and the other fighting back with a mop.
